The split rear window thing... hideous. Nissan, please kill the vehicle now.

Okay I get you might not like it but what does luke skywalker have to do with it. Also split is beautiful.

I still don't understand that objection to the CrossCab. All the best landyachts are ostentatiously ugly.

No soft-top landyachts? Eh? And I don't understand your objection to 'crossovers' in this context. Are you suggesting the higher centre of gravity is compromising the innate sporty handling characteristics of landyachts?
Honestly, I really don't get your mindset at all. The Murano CrossCab is one of the most Jalop vehicles out there, in my book. It's not all about hammering through the twisties in a sportscar. Sometimes you want to kick back, put the top down, and relax in a car that says 'I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks of me'.
The CrossCab is the modern version of this:

But the Cross cab is weird! How does that not endear itself to you?

My buddy now sends me photos of CrossCabriolets and Crosstours.
...as well as bad parkers.

It's acceptable to donk a Crosscab, in my book. It's not like you can be accused of making it look ridiculous...
The only problem with that one is that the wheels aren't nearly big enough. Need to be at least 12" bigger all round, 24" would be better.
